Day 75 7/29 27mi.

We reached the halfway point!!

When we got up high today we noticed a bunch of smoke rising up from the mountains to the south of us. As well as helicopters flying around in the area!

As we continued downhill we hit the PCT midpoint! After hiking for 75 days we made it halfway!!

Right at the end of the day we got down to main road where someone had left trail magic!! Two coolers with pop and fruit in them and a bin with samll bags of potato chips! We enjoyed a little bit of trail magic and read the register and found out that the fire was right next to the town of Belden, where we were the day before!!

We also got our first view of Mt.Lassen today! The first of many large volcanoes we'll be seeing throughout the rest of the trip and the start of the Cascade mountain range!
