Day 71 7/25 28mi.

As I was falling asleep last night I kept hearing a noise in the bushes near my head. After about the third time I heard it I turned on my headlamp and saw a little mouse scampering around. I knew he was up to no good and scarred him away the best I could and then tucked my socks, that were laying out, into my shoes to make it harder for it to get at. When I woke up in the morning I still found that the little bugger got one of my socks, it had a bunch of holes chewed in it during he night. Luckily it was an older pair.

We pushed ourselves a little all day to get some big miles, but we still made it to a campsite near a logging road at a decent time.
