Day 66 7/20 22mi.

The trail crossed a dirt road where there was parking, bathrooms, and picninc tables which we weren't expecting. Anyway there were a lot of people around that had driven up to go day hiking and what not. I got to talking with one gentleman who is a troop master and was scoping out the area because he was going to take a group of boy scouts on a backpacking trip through this section in two weeks. He was eating lunch and gave Chatterbox and I half of his sandwich as well as some chips! It tasted like the best sandwich I had ever eaten, thanks!

We ended the day by hiking through a ski area and passed under a ski lift and actually camped on one of the runs.
