Day 21 6/5 20mi.

Today was fairly cool for a change. The morning's hike was relatively level comparee to most days so we were able to cruise along and did 13 miles by 1 when we stopped for lunch. Our lunch spot, pictured above was at some shaded picnic tables next to a reservoir. It was nice to hang out by a lake for a change, there were a few people out fishing and wake boarding.

After lunch we climbed up away from the lake and saw a line of about 15 prisoners, that must have been working somewhere up on the mountain, coming down past us. We continued on to about mile 20 where there was a stream and filled up on water for the night. While we were filtering the three hikers we'd been seeing a lot passed us and were heading down to a mcdonalds that was about 10 more miles down the trail and about a half mile off trail. They probably won't get there till prerty late and we figured 20 miles was plenty and we could stop there in the morning. We found a camp spot just after the stream that we decided to call home for the night.
